1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible - Sweet!!!!!350 V8, 4 speed automatic transmission. Immaculate!This car was built for a 75 year old retired trucking company owner by his son who was an engineer and very astute at paying close attention to every detail. He showcased the engine area with lots of extras. Truely this is a one of a kind automobile. It has all badging and trim of an SS however as you can see by the pictures there is stainless trim on the firewall over the trim tag and with the tremendous amount of upgrades this vehicle stands on its own whether it is an original SS or not so we chose not to start taking it apart to verify it. In 1963 the SS wasn't coded in the vin.High output 350 crate motor built to perform or cruise the streets with items like roller cam etc.. Nitrous injection. 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission. 4 wheel disc brakes. Power steering. Upgraded suspension with sway bars. Posi traction rear end. Aluminum - Torque Thrust 2 wheels with performance tires. Flowmaster dual exhaust. Power top. Engine compartment has been customized with lots of custom aluminum work and extra chrome items. The paint is a deep metallic (polamar red) with a high shine finish. Exterior chrome is either new or in exceptional condition. Interior has been redone and has lots of extra chrome accents. The top is in good condition, but a new top (still in the box) is included with the sale. There is absolutely no rust on this car - take a look at the pictures of the undercarriage. The car runs and drives far better than it did when new because of all the upgrades. The previous owner won many trophys including best of show and people's choice. All of the local classic car enthusiasts unanimously attest to this being a great car.
